Rosa Lau and Simon Mah talk about the lighting on the next scene. Part of the retraints of the films ultra low budget (partly to do with the economy of the US at this time 2001-????) only allowed us to use reversal Super 8 for a mjoroity of the production. Ideally, 16mm or 35mm negative stock would have been used for these scenes. This made lighing night time scenes very hard. It's hard to make a good horror film without a creepy night setting. Rosa and Simon worked some magic.
